Story Illuminator Workshop

In collaboration with Atta Festival and The Netherlands’ Cinekid Festival, the world's largest children's media festival.

In this workshop, children compile and project their own six-part story. By drawing scenes on a transparent wheel, a kind of film roll is created. This wheel can be mounted on a small self-made box that fits on a smartphone. The next step is to turn on the flashlight app and let the shadow play emerge. Children can take home the box once the workshop is over and show their creation to their parents and friends.

This workshop is 45 minutes long.
